How to clone a Telegram channel to WhatsApp

Steps

  1. Go to wa2tg.app and click Start free, then choose Telegram channel → WhatsApp (log in with Telegram — one tap).
  2. Paste the link of the Telegram channel you want to clone.
  3. On WhatsApp, either add our number to a group, or invite it as an admin of your WhatsApp channel — our number accepts by itself.
  4. Paste the short code we give you in that same WhatsApp group/channel. That's it — new Telegram posts now appear on WhatsApp.

Into a WhatsApp channel or a WhatsApp group?

Both work. If you add our number to a WhatsApp group, the Telegram posts land in the group. If you invite our number as an admin of a WhatsApp channel, they're published in the channel. You keep ownership either way.

Does it copy photos, videos and files?

Text, photos and videos are always republished — photos arrive as real photos and videos with a preview thumbnail, not as file attachments. If the WhatsApp destination is a group, voice notes and documents come through too. WhatsApp channels don't support files/documents or voice notes (a WhatsApp platform limitation) — for those we post a short text note, so nothing is silently dropped.

Is it two-way?

This mode is one-way: Telegram channel → WhatsApp. For two-way group mirroring, use the free WhatsApp group ↔ Telegram group option.

What can’t be cloned into WhatsApp?

WhatsApp channels don’t accept files, audio or voice notes, so those posts arrive as a short text note (with the caption). Photos, videos, text and links are cloned as real media. Polls aren’t cloned. Files up to 20 MB.
