Edit or delete a message once — WhatsApp follows (and three more things you control yourself)
Running the same content on Telegram and WhatsApp used to mean fixing every typo twice and asking support for every small change. wa2tg does this for you: edit or delete in Telegram and the WhatsApp copy is updated; change your signature link, pause or restart a bridge from your account; and get a delivery report on your own WhatsApp after each post.
How to use it (nothing to install)
- Create your bridge at wa2tg.app/start as usual (group ↔ group, or a Telegram channel cloned into a WhatsApp group or channel).
- Edit or delete: just do it in Telegram. A text post you edit is edited in WhatsApp within seconds; a post you delete is deleted in WhatsApp. Nothing to configure.
- Settings: log in at wa2tg.app/account and tap Settings on a bridge — signature line (e.g. your link), hide link previews, #tags, pause/resume, and Restart.
- Delivery report (paid plans): in the same Settings, switch on “Report to my WhatsApp”. After each post you get: delivered / queued / failed, per destination.
Edit & delete sync, Telegram → WhatsApp
The bridge remembers which WhatsApp message came from which Telegram post (for 48 hours). When the Telegram post changes, the WhatsApp copy is edited in place, keeping your signature and #tags; when it is deleted, the WhatsApp copy is deleted for everyone. It works in WhatsApp groups and WhatsApp channels.
Self-service settings per bridge
Everything a customer used to ask us for is now a switch in your account: the signature appended to every post (change the link any time), link-preview card on or off, #tags on or off, pause/resume, and a Restart button that re-checks the WhatsApp and Telegram sides, resends anything still queued and shows you the state.
Delivery report on your WhatsApp
About 25 seconds after your last post, you get one WhatsApp message on your own number: how many destinations received it, how many are queued (for example while WhatsApp is reconnecting) and how many failed. No Telegram bot to start, no dashboard to open.
Known limits
WhatsApp does not allow editing the caption of a photo or video, so only text posts are edited (deleting works for everything). Edits made in WhatsApp are not re-posted to Telegram. Messages older than 48 hours are no longer tracked for edits.
FAQ
