How to message someone on WhatsApp from Telegram

You use Telegram, your friend only uses WhatsApp? With wa2tg Talk you chat with them directly: you write to our bot in Telegram, they write to our number in WhatsApp, and wa2tg relays everything between you — both ways, live, with photos, voice notes and video. No group, no app to install, and your phone number stays private.

Step by step (2 minutes)

  1. One of you logs in at wa2tg.app/start, picks 1-to-1 and types the other person’s name. You get a short code and a Telegram link.
  2. The person on WhatsApp sends the code to our number +61468332437 (one tap on the green button).
  3. The person on Telegram opens the link and taps Start in our bot.
  4. Done. What the Telegram side writes to the bot lands in the WhatsApp chat, and the WhatsApp replies come back into Telegram. It doesn’t matter who starts.

Does it work from WhatsApp to Telegram too?

Yes — it’s the same bridge in both directions. The WhatsApp side chats with our number, the Telegram side chats with our bot. Either person can set it up.

Can I have several WhatsApp friends?

Yes. The first friend lives in your chat with our bot; each extra friend gets their own chat (on the WhatsApp side, a small WhatsApp group named after the friend). Up to 5 friends on the $3/month plan, 20 on Pro.

Does my friend see my number?

No. The Telegram side talks to a bot and the WhatsApp side talks to our number. Nobody’s phone number is shared.

What does it cost?

Free for 5 days (100 messages/day). Then $3/month for up to 5 friends, or $12/year for one friend — no message limit either way. Cancel anytime.
